SOS: Save our Snowpacks - Friday, March 18 at the RCC

On Friday, March 18, head to the Revelstoke Community Centre (Seniors Centre) for an informative talk on what glaciers in the Columbia Basin tell us about snowpack.

In celebration of National Water Week, the NCES & Wildsight present glaciologist Jocelyn Hirose to share her research results on the Illecillewaet Glacier in a presentation called SOS: Save Our Snowpack.

Anyone interested to know how the glaciers in the Columbia basin are standing up to climate change will want to hear this talk. An introductory piece in honor of national Water Week will be provided by FD Productions.
