Mountain Roots Film Festival - This Weekend!

I hope you’re hungry for popcorn, because this weekend marks the first annual Mountain Roots Film Festival here in Revelstoke. The Friends of Mount Revelstoke and Glacier have pulled together the amazing event, taking place Saturday and Sunday.

The festival brings together youth, novice and professional filmmakers from around Canada to showcase their films about mountain culture, adventures and life. The festival provides local and national filmmakers a chance to present their films on the big screen in the beautiful Revelstoke, British Columbia.

Films will be screened at the Roxy Theatre on Saturday, February 12 and Sunday, February 13 at 12:00 pm, 3:30pm and 7:30pm with an Awards Gala at 7:30 pm on Sunday, February 13, 2010. Shows are $10.00 each and the awards gala $15.00. Weekend passes are available for all films and the awards gala for $50.00.
