Throw on the Spandex on Thursday, December 9!

There is a fantastic National Ski Mountaineering Team fundraiser coming up on Thursday, December 9 at the Last Drop - half of the team lives in Revelstoke, so this is an event with tons of heart and local pride involved. Check out our local skiers on their website Ski Mountaineering Revelstoke. The event is hosted by hosted by Andrew McNab, Melanie Bernier and Julie Matteau.

A minimum donation of $10.00 will get you in for a great night & proceeds will help local athletes to race in the Worlds Championships in Claut, Italy in February 2011.

The fundraiser promises to be a great one, featuring live tunes by the Rippin Rattlers, a silent auction with tons of goodies, and great draw prizes from local businesses, including Bruno Long Photography, Flowt, Helios Rehabilitation & Performance, Mountain Goodness, Pharmasave, People’s Drug Mart, RMR, Skookum, The Cabin, Universal Footwear, and Valhalla Pure.

The event starts at 7:00, and the Last Drop will have food & drink specials all night. Come dress in your favorite spandex outfit to win a special draw prize!
