Revelstoke Mountain Resort is open for the 2010/2011 Season!
Revelstoke Mountain Resort opened up today for its fourth season, and despite a pretty significant lack of snow, the smiling faces told the story. Thinking of heading up? Take your rock skis! Fortunately there is snow in the forecast next week, so keep doing your snow dances and praying to Ullr.
It was great to get out with old friends and ride familiar lines - Vertigo was awesome, Three Bears was fantastic if you managed to pick your way down the Sweet Spot traverse, and the general consensus is that South Bowl was pretty rockin’, almost all the way down to Mid-Mountain Lodge. Lineups were minimal and the temperatures were warm.
